The latest outdoor painting event took place on Monday 1st July, the venue was Nunney Castle near Frome. Personally I found it amazing to find such a large and well maintained ruin in such a small village with so little notoriety, English Heritage are missing a trick. Regretfully there were not many of us there – you don’t know what you missed – in fact the ducks outnumbered us. Despite this the sun shone and the Castle was a fascinating edifice to paint.
