In spite of a technical hitch which meant we could not use the camera, Jackie Curtis gave us a fascinating demonstration of mono printing using natural materials such as leaves, feathers and mulberry bark.  She came armed with her portable printing press, water based inks (she normally uses oil based ones) and all  things necessary to produce absolutely beautiful pictures.  Her prints are often produced in the open air where she gains inspiration from the countryside around her.  Jackie was very generous with her advice and hints and several members had recently attended one of her workshops, organised by the SGA.  If you would like to see more of her work, go to www.jcurtisart.com
