Privacy policy

Under new laws effective from 28 May 2018, all organisations are required to have an individual’s permission to keep personal data (email, telephone number, address).  Organisations are also required to inform you how these details are kept, how they are used and when they are deleted. 

SGA Members’ personal data is kept on computer and accessible only to SGA committee members to use only for group purposes  i.e. to inform them about meetings, club events, exhibitions etc. Their details will never be divulged to any other person or organisation without their permission. These details are kept for one year after membership of the SGA has lapsed or earlier,  if  requested. They will be deleted after this period. Members may request that their details be deleted at any time.
