New Spring 2026: Life Drawing Workshop
Following another very successful life drawing workshop in the autumn, we are delighted to announce the next event on Wednesday 25th February, from 1pm to 3.30pm.
It is to be held this time at The Parish Rooms Market Square Somerton, TA117NB, which offers a larger space, and open also to non members – so make sure you book your place in good time!
The workshop will be in the afternoon, our model will be Gary, and as usual will be held in a relaxed and informal manner.
As before, Jackie Sherlock and Judy Bugden (both SGA Members) have kindly agreed to share their knowledge and experience during the workshop, offering helpful hints and tips on an informal and relaxed basis and are happy to provide help if needed.
ART MATERIALS TO BRING WITH YOU:
- A3 sketching pad (the Works do an ideal pad for about £4.00).
- A3 board to lean on
- 2B/4B pencils
- Eraser/putty rubber
- Coloured pencils, pens, charcoal or pastels can also be used but please bring your own appropriate paper if being used.

TIME:
1pm – 3.30 pm with a break. Arrive early to get settled in please?
Tea/Coffee/Biscuits will be provided.
