Monthly meetings take place in the Parish Rooms, Rooms, Market Square, Somerton.TA11 7NB 
Usually on second Wednesday of the month, beginning in March.
Doors open 7.00pm for 7.30pm start,- 9pm. Except April AGM starts 7pm.
 

11 MARCH -OWEN WILLIAMS; “Light through trees”in Acrylics

8 APRIL -AGM –7pm Followed by BELINDA REYNELL;“Creating Atmosphere in Oils”

13 MAY– IAN LACEY (LoveFromTheArtist); Getting your artists cards and prints onto the computer in digital form.

10 JUNE– Virginia Mason 
Talk ; Title -“INTIMATE SPACE” A journey through History , from an artists perspective.

JULY & AUGUST– Outdoor Painting Days-Programme to be confirmed.

9 SEPTEMBER -Katrina Atkinson from the Arthouse Cheddar.

14 OCTOBER – PAUL OAKLEY (Pewsey Vale Studio); “Still Life” in Oils

11 NOVEMBER -Lisa Takahashi “Dynamic Shapes in Relief Print.”- Linocuts.

9 DECEMBER– MEMBERS CHRISTMAS EVENING

Outdoors Painting programme 2026

Glorious Gardens Paint  Out

When: 10am Tuesday July 28th
Where: 11 The Roman Way, Glastonbury, BA6 8AB
Cost: £5 (suggested entry donation)
Facilities: Refreshments for sale, toilets at garden level, seating, parking,
 
Background information:
We were delighted to receive a moving letter from Art Historian, Joanna Cobb inviting us to paint in her glorious gardens.
Joanna, has, in past years, opened her gardens to the public and presented an informative talk to SGA members on Flowers and Plants in Art.
Since becoming her husband’s primary carer, she now dedicates her spare time and passion for gardening with visiting artists (by invitation ) All proceeds are for the National Garden Scheme Charity.
We are keen to support this worthy cause, so why not reach for your paints and come and join us.
