SGA members enjoyed a fascinating evening watching Tracy perform ‘mixed media magic’.  Tracy starts by painting a colour wash on mount board – she has a colour palette in mind, but no set design plan.  After the wash is dry,  she layers watercolour and acrylic inks, watercolour, gouache and acrylic paints, fibre tip pens and even coloured shoe wax. Tracy creates her picture using many different methods – blowing with drinking straws, spattering, dripping, drawing, painting……  In fact, anything goes until she is satisfied with the final painting.
