At our evening meeting inApril, Neil   demonstrated his fast and fluid style using ink and watercolours on Intense Paper.  Rarely lifting the pen off the paper, and with great speed, he captured urban scenes from Bath and London.  He showed us how to experiment with his rule of ‘thirds’ to achieve sharp perspectives. 

When adding the wash, very few colours were used.  From the blue of sky to the soft colours of a building and then picking out a deeper colour of a doorway or window made the urban landscape come to life!
