Our Exhibition in April was a huge success.  With over 100 entries and 400 visitors, there were many compliments about the high standard and range of art works. 280 members of the public voted for their favourite and the winner was Thelma Masters with her painting ‘Woodland Scene’.  The photograph shows Thelma being presented with the winners cup by Kate Craft.  Two members received equal votes to win the Joan Bridges memorial prize (voted for by SGA members) – Kate Craft for her painting of ‘Turkish Kitchen Garden’ and Thelma Masters with ‘Autumn Light’. The photograph shows them with the award.  Congratulations to both!
